God gives life. God takes life.

There is no pro-life or pro-choice. 1 Sam 2:6 says, “The Lord kills and makes alive; He brings down to the grave and brings up.” God does not give His glory to another.

Heaven or Hell destination is a matter of believing.

John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

John 3:17 says, “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. It is that simple. John 3:36 rephrases the message. God wishes everyone to be saved. Here too, God gives life, in His perfect timing.

Billboard messages – Love God – Love your neighbor

Over the weekend I read a billboard that said, “When you die, you will meet God.” I pondered the message. Something did not sound right about it. And it occurred to me, or as the Spirit quicken my spirit, I realized that the rich man did not meet God. In the parable of the beggar and the rich man, Jesus said, that when the beggar died he was carried to the bosom of Abraham. The rich man found himself in Hades. John 3:17 is clear that those who do not believe are condemned already. Why would they meet God? I thought, that message should be directed more at believers. Maybe it is. Maybe it is a prompting to examine one’s faith. Are we believing the true gospel or are we caught up in one of the hundreds of false teachings preached in today’s churches?

False teachings – false teachers – doctrines of demons – false prophets – twisting God’s word is the enemy’s best strategy. Oh my!

Like I said, it is effective. Why would he change now. Now he has hundreds of workers, male, female, young and old, in fancy clothes to help him spread his false gospels. Just things to consider.
